Plant Engineer
Position: Plant Engineer
Type: Regular, Full-Time
Location: Voca, Texas
Cadre is looking for a fresh, forward-thinking engineer to assist operations in troubleshooting and process optimization. This position reports directly to the Dry Plant Manager and will make a meaningful contribution to the company by performing the following duties:
• Designs or optimizes processes, methods, and equipment for extraction, filtration, and quality.
• Identify faults in plant equipment or processes and takes corrective action to ensure safe operation.
• Performs multi-role plant support of process, mechanical, equipment, controls, and electrical engineering needs.
• Tests and benchmarks the quality of the process/product.
• Solicits information from plant operators to improve processes.
• Conducts performance production benchmarking.
• Writes standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
Qualifications:
To qualify, the candidate must have BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering (or commensurate experience).
Cadre provides opportunities that greatly enhance skills and experience through training and on the job development. 2-4 years experience working in a solids processing plant is preferred but not required.
