Plant Operator
Position: Plant Operator
Type: Regular, Full-Time
Location: Voca, Texas
Cadre is continuously looking for dedicated individuals that are interested in working at our plant as equipment operators, control room operators, and plant operators alike.
Positions within this category include working with plant equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient production. Duties may include the operation of plant machinery and heavy equipment, lubricating moving parts and performing basic troubleshooting. Other responsibilities may include:
• Operates equipment or machinery to control conveying, blending, washing, crushing and sizing of material to prepare it for industrial use or further processing.
• Daily cleanup of equipment and surrounding areas using a shovel and other tools.
• Performs daily inspections and routine servicing of plant machinery to ensure proper function.
• Ensures that the plant is properly supplied with all raw material needed to operate.
• Notify maintenance and loading personnel of delays or malfunctions.
• Prepares reports and logs detailing plant operation.
• Maintains quality, safety, housekeeping and environmental standards.
• Regular attendance is required to ensure crew is able to operate at normal efficiency.
Qualifications:
To qualify, the candidate’s work history must demonstrate the ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, and focus on attention on details. Preferred experience includes the knowledge and ability to operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Voca, Texas, located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, is approximately 130 miles Northwest of Austin.
